Christina & Omar

January 28, 2013

Another hot wedding of 2012! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Christina and Omar chose a beautiful location: Schloss Laxenburg. The catering, light designer,… did an awesome job, all in all very extravagant – I loved it!

The husband welcomed every guest, then the ceremony started. Omar was so touched to see Christina in her awesome wedding dress for the first time! Richard Redl and two female singers also contributed to the lovely mood – just beautiful, I love these emotional moments on weddings!

I’m sure everyone enjoyed this day, the guests as well as the bride and groom danced a lot until very late at night! I hope and wish Christina’s and Omar’s marriage will be as exciting, full of life and love as their wedding day! And here’s the slideshow!

Vicky & Hariochy

January 19, 2013

My first Austrian-Cuban Wedding! And it was fun! Those people CAN dance! ๐Ÿ™‚

Vicky was the most relaxed bride I ever met (and photographed), she was so beautiful in that awesome dress! Here’s a photo of Vicky getting dressed, a good friend (and hairstylist) helped her.

As Vicky is a kindergarten teacher, many kids were around. I especially noticed one young man feeling cool between the bridesmaids. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hariochy was very nervous at the beginning, but got a lot more relaxed later. Although he doesn’t like taking portraits he did a very good job. ๐Ÿ™‚

After the official part of the wedding and shooting many many family pictures and some portraits in an awesome location we went to the hotel, where Vicky’s and Hariochy’s family and friends were waiting. When the dinner was over, the “party” started! I’ve hardly ever seen so many people dance on a wedding so well! It was amazing to watch! So here are some photos of Vicky’s and Hariochy’s day! The wedding was awesome, so hopefully their marriage will be full of love, fun and dance as well!

Wedding: Irene & Markus

November 18, 2012

Irene & Markus have chosen one of the hottest days of the year 2012 for their wedding, June 16th. But fortunately the marriage ceremony was on a ship, such a beautiful idea! And a lot fresher, with a cool breeze there. ๐Ÿ™‚ The church wedding was in Mondsee (Upper Austria) too. Before the official part started, my assistant Dany and I went to the house of Irene’s parents to take photos of the first look and some portraits.

The garden was just beautiful, matching the bride, groom and family. ๐Ÿ™‚ Especially Irene and her mother looked amazing!

Irene’s and Markus’ son Jonas also did a great job! ๐Ÿ™‚

After the wedding ceremony Irene and Markus were dancing on the ship, such a cute couple!

Also the guests enjoyed the beautiful mountains and the Mondsee.

As Irene’s father is a car dealer, the bride and the groom had two separate beautiful cars, a white and a black one!

To all the photographers who are reading my blog: The church was beautiful, but I think it was the darkest church I ever photographed, no chance at all to bounce the flashlight from anywhere around me, so my only chance to get photos at all was direct flash, combined with high ISO, the lowest possible exposure time and open aperture.

Markus is a policeman, so some of his colleagues formed a guard of honour outside the church.

After the official part was over, the wedding party moved to the restaurant “Frodlhof”. Markus is a really nice guy and also kept the speech very short and funny! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m sure the guests had lots of fun too, everything was really relaxed, simply a beautiful day!

More wedding photography!

February 6, 2012

As I would like to do more wedding photography, I built and then rebuilt my wedding photography website again as the first new version was way too dark for my taste concerning wedding photography! Have a look and feel free to leave a comment! And if you know any couples that are getting married this year, I’d appreciate it if you share the link! ๐Ÿ˜‰ There will also be another blog, but this time only in German. Though wedding destinations are welcome too of course!

June 23, 2011

On Friday, June 18th, I had the pleasure to photograph a wedding at the Servitenkirche and later at “Kunsthistorisches Museum”. Both beautiful locations, but both very dark, as it also was a very cloudy day, it even was raining at the time we had planned to take some portraits outdoors. Really difficult conditions for a photographer, but I tried to make it work, although I don’t like on-camera-flash and there was no possibility to bounce flashย most of the time due to very high ceilings. The “lightsphere” was better than nothing though.

The location was decorated beautifully, the bride was smiling all day and I think she and her husband have had a wonderful day! He was wearing a gray cut suit (very handsome, and I’m always happy if the groom is not wearing a black suit ๐Ÿ™‚ because of the high contrast black and white), she was wearing a long, gorgeous dress with a veil attached to her hair.

Two new websites, a competition and an exhibition!

February 4, 2011

Wow, long time passed since my last blog-entry…! Perhaps I should post more often and not wait until there are four topics in one blogpost. ๐Ÿ™‚ I already have sooo many pictures I could publish but didn’t have the time until now. Well, this has to wait again, here are the latest news – if you are visiting my Website regularly you already know part of those news – but not everything!! ๐Ÿ˜‰

nr. 1)
Exhibition at Raiffeisenbank Lenzing – “Papergirl & Plasticboy”:
Thanks to Raiffeisenbank Lenzing for showing my photos and posting a link and information about me on their Website!
Here are ย some (really bad) photos I took with my (old!!) mobile phone:

nr. 2)
As I’m always grateful for people who are passing my name on to other people who might need photos of themselves, I thought I give away a portrait-photoshoot for free at the end of 2011! Every customer will be asked who told him/her to let ME take his/her photos – the name I hear the most will get the free photoshoot! ๐Ÿ™‚

nr. 3)
I decided to build an extra website for wedding photography, here it is:

nr. 4)
As I mostly take photos of singers, dancers and actors I decided to build a website called ““, which should help theatres, producers, directors,… finding artists as well as artists getting jobs or information about castings if the website is big enough, so theatres,.. will hopefully send their casting-ads to me.

EVERYONE who wants to be part of my new websiteย just send me an e-mail with the required information about yourself (, btw, for those who are afraid there’s too much information published – you can decide yourself what information you want to write into your CV of course! This website and my work is FOR FREE in this case, so just use this source of PR too. ๐Ÿ˜‰
