Wedding

June 23, 2011

On Friday, June 18th, I had the pleasure to photograph a wedding at the Servitenkirche and later at “Kunsthistorisches Museum”. Both beautiful locations, but both very dark, as it also was a very cloudy day, it even was raining at the time we had planned to take some portraits outdoors. Really difficult conditions for a photographer, but I tried to make it work, although I don’t like on-camera-flash and there was no possibility to bounce flash most of the time due to very high ceilings. The “lightsphere” was better than nothing though.

The location was decorated beautifully, the bride was smiling all day and I think she and her husband have had a wonderful day! He was wearing a gray cut suit (very handsome, and I’m always happy if the groom is not wearing a black suit 🙂 because of the high contrast black and white), she was wearing a long, gorgeous dress with a veil attached to her hair.
